UAC policy settings can be defined in an individual computer s Local Security Policy or in a GPO. To locate UAC policy settings in Local Security Policy, first open the Local Security Policy console by typing secpol.msc at a command prompt, in Start Search, or in the Run box. (Alternatively, you can open Local Security Policy in Administrative Tools available in Control Panel classic view.) Then, in the Local Security Policy console, browse the console tree to Local Policies, and then to Security Options. Once you grant a role Read or Read/Write access to a cube, then the role by default has Read access to each dimension in the cube. Even if you grant read permissions for one or more dimensions, users assigned to this role cannot view data until the role is granted permission to access the cube.
